This weeks message:

There is a limit to improv and messaging. but not to wisdom. The spoken word is messaging. Today's messaging involves the truth of our own existence. "They" say that blood is thicker than water, simple truth. I've drawn blood, tested urine and tested water. Water has a specific gravity of 1.000, urine can bulk up to 1.030, and blood is around 1.2 with all it's co-mingled proteins, minerals and cellular contents. This is an idiomatic. metaphor about family, but in the end, there is only you. In your last. breath's your thoughts will be yours alone. As it always has been and should be. I think someone once said, "I think, therefore I am". Only a different time and a different language.

I always enjoyed hearing Allan Watt's speak about solipsism. A philosophy that say's only my mind exists, therefore only mind exists. Some call it self-centered, some seek deeper truths. Maybe I'm self-centered, but "in the end", no family shares the space with this third of a continuous circle of 4 bardo's, a Tibetan name for "birth", "life", "death" and "rebirth"; Fully explained in Rinpoche's "The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying". S o, "is there death after life"? Who knows; we all will in our own time. We will never leave our own existence until we do, and if there is truly nothingness, then I can't conceive of an explanation of this absurd proposition. There are a few human laws of physics that contend that this is not possible. Why set your mind on a morbid fear of non-existence, if there is no existence, then fear, confusion, pain are all vaporized, so nothing is left, just the bogy man under the bed. Find a faith and a philosophy, and realize that only you are in the driver's seat. Spoken word Saturday live podcast at 8 am PDT,
